100 Grain Barnes TTSX 115 Grain Nosler Range Shots

Fortunately I get both speed and accuracy with my 25. The 100 grain Barnes TTSX, 115 grain nosler combined technology silver tip and 117grain SST all group less than 3/4 inch at 100 and less than1 inch at 200yards
The 115grain nosler combined technology silver tip groups under 0.9 inch and the SST a milli-poofteenth over 0.9 at the same distance.

Nice shooting Bob. Do you use that rifle for head shooting squirrels? LOL

No Art it's a Simone pure hunting rifle. I do like to conserve the barrel life. It does make shooting easier with an accurate rifle tho. If I'm using the 100grain Barnes TTSX on deer size game and having just an 8 inch drop at 400 yards it make a back line hold shot capable at over 450 yards. If you like I can give you the energies at that range. At the muzzle it's just over 3,000 fpe.

Bob, you've mentioned this rifle and its' accuracy previously. Everybody should have a rifle that shoots like that.

I know Art but I have a passion for 25s. A mate had a Winchester 92 in 25/20 that I loaded the 70grain Speer hotcore for. He could not believe how accurate it was and how hard it hit for a little round. He could regularly hit a tennis ball @ 100yards with it. On the goats he shot, one BIG billy he shot in the shoulder, broke the shoulder wrecked the lungs and broke ribs on the way out of the animal. Dead on the spot at around 80 yards. It became his new favorite rifle even for fallow deer out to 150 yards.
There's just something about the 25s that make them just work.
