For Sale Maitland Smith Crocodiles With Clock

Since I have recently seen some art on here I thought I would put this piece on here before I put it on a different site. This is a unique clock with 2 bronze crocodiles and a granite/marble base made by Maitland Smith. The clock runs on 2 C batteries. Heavy- about 15 pounds, 20 inches wide at the base, 18 inches in height. Not sure if the croc’s tails were made to look like a buff’s horns but they sure do. All but perfect condition. $ 1300 shipped...hat isn’t included, only for scale

By the way, I have a Ralph Lauren Safari Collection dresser which is actually made by Maitland Smith.
Very cool looking, with Lion Head hardware and carved Lion, it's a great piece.

Excellent! I’ve not seen that - I’d sure like to see it if you wouldn’t mind sending me a photo. I have a pair of Theodore Alexander chairs that resemble “campaign chairs” that I have held onto for many years.
