Now this is a good looking Super Grade. Have seen lots of Featherweights, but this one is at the top.

It appears @WAB is correct - somewhat a bit of a hybrid. Differences I notice: the barrel is marked "FEATHERWEIGHT," the crossbolt isn't the standard engraved metal and the wood is most outstanding for a factory supergrade.

Beautiful rifle. I never doubted its authenticity/originalness. My comments were attempting to detail the differences between this special run and regular supergrades.

I like it but the first I would have to have done is a re-blue job. It appears the barrel is in terrible condition.

I am looking to purchase a Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in 7x57mm Mauser

They were a Shot Show Special around 2014 or so. I've got one, South Carolina FN models and I love it. But like everyone says it's not really marked Supergrade like it should be. Just a Featherweight with the fancy walnut.
