Hi Guys,
Through a partnership with myself, Reinhard and Hardus Van Zijl we have secured the old Nhenda (House of the Lion) Safari area/camp on the North Bank of Cahorra Bassa mozambique.

I am able to exclusively offer the remaining wild lion tag to prospective clients.

Our area encompasses just over 1 000 000 acres with roughly 65 miles of waterfront. The safari will be over a period of 16 days.

Hunting Method: Baited/Blind, the use of lighting as well as calling equipment is permitted.

Professional hunter will be myself.

Pricing includes:
*16 Days: 14 full days of hunting.
*All meals as well as all drinks
*Fully operational and licensed Professional hunter as well as hunting vehicle
*Airport pick up from Tete as well as drop off (1,45 min drive and an additional 2 hours by boat)
*Trophy fee ($3500) and Tag Fee ($4000) for 1xLion male
*Trophy and Tag fee for 1xHippo (US non exportable) (intended for bait)
*Rifle License
*Hunting Card
*Trophy transport to exporter
*Concession fee
*Should the flight from O.R Tambo arrive in Tete after 1 in the afternoon, I will include 1 nights accomodation in Tete for a departure the following morning.

Pricing Excludes:
*All Taxidermy and shipping of trophies
*Accomodation in Johannesburg should it be needed due to arrival times
*Additional trophies
*Non hunting Observers: $250 per day (also all inclusive)
*Any international airfare, as well as commercial flight to Tete

Pricing Total: $42 000

This spesific area is well known for great Crocodile, Chobe Bushbuck and Hippo both lion and Leopard where taken last season as this is only our first season of being fully operational on the area we look forward to the challenge at hand.

We are also in the process of aquiring two additional areas, which will total around 1.4 million acres, and should be fully operational on these during 2014.

As a side note the contract/lease on Cahorra Bassa will expire at the end of this season as all 6 operator's areas around the lake will become Coutada areas..... further leases/contracts will be issued for 10 year periods as well,... as of 2014. (We intend to renew Africa permitting :) )

Please feel free to contact myself for any further information or just post directly on the thread. there seems to have been allot of confusion surrounding this area in the past Bernard no longer has this area, and the current Lease to which we have percentage will expire again after this season, I believe I have stated the route to be followed there after.

We look forward to become a no BS fully operational and reputable entity in the years to come as I am sure our clients and hunters will vouch on our behalf.

Greatest of success to you and Reinhard...I'm sure with your joint determination and a bit cooperation from Africa it will go well.
S..t, now I got to make a bigger plan....maybe sell that old 360NE?

Best Regards

Jon

Kwalata will still continue in SA, but with this added as a constant in our belts it will be great, We all look forward to the challenge.

Doc I'll take you along just for the camp fire..... :)

..and I'll love you longtime, Bud..! :kissy: and Spike to help fetch firewood, ok. Seriously, best of luck with your new venture. That's a great area.

Good Luck to your new business venture. Hopefully you can get a renewal and bring the areas reputation up from the Nhenda days.

Congrats Jaco, I am sure that you and Reinhard will be successful, and yes, as a previous and hopefully future client of yours, I can vouch for the outstanding effort you put in to made the hunt successful and FUN. As I can't afford this hunt, I will watch for a review by the lucky hunter who picks this deal up. Again, as we talked, keep me in mind for 2014 and tell Reinhard to pack the tequila.
As fair warning to the prospective hunter with Jaco, get ready for 16 days of the signature move!:tongue:

Jaco

I'm certainly glad to see someone take over the concession that can be honest and utilize this great concession in an honest and ethical manner. My first an only hunt with Nehenda Safari was a disaster. I've hunted africa 7 times and seen thing go on in that camp under Bernard and Brenda that certainly was extremely unethical and dishonest.
Congradulation and wish you the Best of Luck in the upcoming season and all that follows.

Thank you Russ, I do appreciate the encouragement, we are really excited at the prospect and being involved with great trustworthy reputable friends is an added bonus.

I am sorry that your trip was not what you should have received, and I truly hope that your future safaris will be better and enjoyable again..

My best always.

Jaco I too find my bank balance one (1) zero short :) How much was all my effort on the DSC dinner meeting worth? :) :)
Sounds like a great opportunity for you. I'm sure you will enjoy doing it.

Congratulations guys. There is no doubt that some new top ten trophies are wandering around Mozambique waiting for someone to come along.
Best of luck on your venture. I hope I can arrange a side trip over this season.

Thanks Tim missed you in Harrisburg this year... For obvious reasons :) would be awesome to have you in.

My best always.

My best always
