My guess is an ultralight sheep gun in some 6.5mm caliber…probably involving carbon fiber.

I’m guessing an R8 replacement. It’s been a while, and they have been bringing out a multitude of different versions/models of it in the past few years. In the car industry, that usually means the end of the product life cycle. They’ve brought out a new shotgun not long ago, refreshed the K95 single shot rifle very recently, but the R8 has been around quite a while by modern standards. But it could also be a semi-auto hunting rifle to rival Sauer 303 or perhaps a new double?

2nd generation of the Infinity scope is forthcoming. The Left hand ultimate will be released by end of the year or first quarter of next. The cutout Pelican cases are also coming back. But, by the obvious look of the post and for a August announcement, it seems like they are getting into the camouflage game to compete with Sitka and Kuiu. First three statements are facts. The camo is my guess.

Agreed. The gaps speak for themselves.

The R84 to R93 was just 9 years, but that smaller time frame speaks to several early lessons learned from the R84 that needed to be implemented quickly. Then it was another 15 to release the R8. Now it's been 13 more years and it feels like the time is right.

The good news is if there is a new R21...the R8 stuff will be selling for cheap. Well at least it will be good news for me.

I hope all of you are correct.....
But I'm guessing a line of clothing to compete with Kuiu and Sitka.
I don't think they can stand to see those dollars going to another brand, and I bet most customers of all three overlap.

0.0007% more energy than .308 at 875 yards!!!!!!! No more fear that you haven't brought enough gun!

Fits in a .22 LR length action for ultralight rifle design.

Achieves all of this from a standard 17 lb tactical rifle with 31 picatinny rails for accessories!!!! Simply practical and nothing more!

Could the market have absorbed another double manufacturer? Has anyone done a bit of research around the double rifle industry? What are the facts at play? A few years ago when I visited WR they were working on 120 guns in total a year and I doubt more than ten or so were doubles. Rigby seems to be very small numbers of rising bites too. In any event the European manufacturers must be the vast majority.

Wow! Hopefully they'll make some shooting socks to compete with Wesley Richards? Maybe in camo? Guess the 6.5 Blaser will have to wait.
