What a fantastic hunt, and some outstanding animals taken. Congrats to both, and what a way to end your safari with a stud of a kudu. Thank you for taking us along, your report was exciting and fun to read. Thank you!!!

Congratulations on a mighty fine hunt - priceless memories for sure! And extremely well-written and recorded! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for taking the time to do the detailed write up my friend. It was a heck of trip. We were very lucky that the big ones all gave us a chance.

Lucky indeed! However I cannot let you pass credit or discount your hard work and skill. They were critical in finding and then capitalizing on each opportunity to take exceptional trophies. That wasn't lost on Tom or me.

Success occurs at the intersection of preparation, hard work and opportunity.

..... but man we sure squeezed the last drop of luck out on that final Kudu bull! ;-)

That last minute success is always the most exciting! I’ve done that a couple of times elk hunting…last light of the last day. Very rewarding!
Oh yes, back in the day, I had to drive into the closest town, find a pay phone, call my boss and tell him I would be a couple of days late so I could get my elk out of the woods. Usually cost me a steak or two…

Ridgewalker, been there done that! During my mountain climbing elk chasing days I’d advocate killing elk where ever you can, then figure out how to get them out later. Sounds like your boss understood leveraged negotiations!

Hi Bill,

What a great closing pic of You & Brother Tom w/ the gems of a great adventure! Bask in the memories as those memories will draw you back - it is an addiction I embrace! Bests …

P.S. Warthog in skull - you can sure see how much a ‘stunner’ he is - Tank!
