Awesome. My lion hunt was one of the greatest hunts of my life. To get to hunt 2 on 1 hunt would be amazing.

What a shame we can’t import anymore. But then again if we could that wouldn’t be the price! Lol. Beautiful cats sir.

Hi Erik
I know you got a beautiful male lion. Now it's time to complete the experience with an exciting lioness hunt.
By the way thank you for helping me out one year with our both equipment when you graciously in typical Texan hospitality style loaded our booth equipment after the Dallas Safari Club Conversion in your trailer and moved our stuff to Reno that year for the SCI convention. I still owe you for that so come and shoot a free gemsbuck.
Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Thank you sir.
Yes what a pity. The same with polar bears, brown hyena, cheetah, black faced impala and so many other species.
They are legal to hunt in their native countries but for some reason US Fish and Game does not allow the importation.
You can still take as many pictures of your lion as you want and blow them up life-size for your trophy room. We will show the greenies that hunters can still enjoy the hunt even if they try to stop the importation of trophies.
We had an American client who hunted here last week who told me about a new development.
Apparently they are working on a scanner (at the moment still the size of a laptop but they are trying to get it smaller to the size of a large phone). The client or PH or cameraman on safari can then scan the animal in the field after it was shot on the ground by moving the scanner around the animals head a few times and then they can print an exact copy of the horns with the white skull in America or wherever you want it on a 3D printer. The client told me it looks exactly like real horn and skull. He said he had to tap with his fingernail on it to realise that was actually hard plastic.
This can revolutionise the hunting and taxidermy industry.
Sincerely

Pardon my ignorance, but can explain the levels or grade of lion? A vs B etc:

Thank you!

Hi Andrew
I am not so adept at loading photos and stuff on the website.
Will ask one of the girls to do it for me tomorrow.
If you are in a hurry you can look at the Lion package that I posted last year.
You can still find it under the Deals section.
Just type Kalahari lion hunt 2020 or DE KLERK SAFARIS and it should come up.
In last years package you will see clearly the difference between Level A, B, C and D.
Basically Level A lion is a younger lion with only mane around the neck and a Level D lion is an old lion with full mane. You will see on last years package the difference.
Last year's special only had 2 days and 3 nights included but this year's special has got 5 days and 6 nights included.
Have fun exploring.
Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Thanks Jerome.
That is why we pay you the big bucks.
For such GOOD SERVICE!

This may not be the glory days for lion breeders in South Africa, but it sure is for lion hunters. The price of these lions would have been triple what these are a decade or less ago.

Thanks for the info. That’s what I had in my mind but was just curious for my own education.

Thanks Jerome!

We've had quite a few clients that PM'd us privately about prices for 2022.
Nobody knows what the prices will be in 2022 but should any client be willing to put down a 50 % deposit now we will honour the same prices for 2022.
Should anything happens between now and 2022 that prevents any client from coming on safari (for example Covid lockdown regulations, health issues, government shutting down lion hunts, etc) we will refund the clients deposit 100 % no questions asked.
Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Hans I can’t wait to get down there for my hunt in August !

Looking forward to have you with us.

Thank you Hans, for the good communication and feedback plans are on the make and I would rather do a lion hunt asap before some stupid pen pusher shuts its down with current good deals to be had.

You got that right.
The world is changing and in a few years time hunting as we know it might be a thing of the past.

This is really tempting, I’m going to have to figure out how to do this...
