At least you don't have him as your senator in DC. He is such an embarrassment to us here in Utah.

Well considering the guy lives in the socialist utopia of Park City (Deer Valley to be exact) what do you expect. A year of the Park Record was more then enough for me to know that I could never live there in my retirement. And unfortunately, it’s spreading to Huber and Midway.

I really don't like Romney. I just barely missed getting to vote when Romney was elected, I know that my single vote would not have changed the outcome but al least I could have stood for what I believed in at that time.
It is sad to see the change happening in Utah. All the people from the Left coast have been moving here slowly ruining the state.

Europe's largest industrialized nation met almost 20% of its final energy demand last year with renewable energy (455 billions of KW/H), which is more than a drop in the bucket.
Germany (as the only country in Europe, we are so stupid) is getting out of coal and nuclear power completely.
Instead, we buy nuclear power from Eastern Europe and France as a matter of course.
The Bitcoin industry is terrible; it needs as much electricity for calculating its algorithms as Denmark does, with cheap electrified lignite from Mongolia.Blowing CO 2 into the air for such crap,Speculators have always contributed to the fact that people perish .
They should work for a change.
It’s a NIMB (not in my backyard) philosophy. It’s everywhere. In your example, as long as power and energy is delivered from somewhere else, from someone else, the powers that be can claim environmental and emissions pollution success. It’s a shell game and the workers left in those industries are left out of the game. It’s there, it’ll soon be here and it’s coming to every country near you and me. Keep sending those unemployment and stimulus checks out and the governments will have to figure out how to pay for it generations later.

What do you guys think of Tulsi Gabbard? Is she really a super moderate as she appears to be, or a Chameleon angling for a Presidential run in 2024?

I think the only reason Romney jumped back into the D.C swamp, was to be a thorn in Trumps backside.

China Joe just signed an executive order banning new oil and gas permits for ALL Federal lands and offshore drilling. But, environmental guru John Kerry, who owns three private jets and multiple homes ( no carbon footprint there) stated “one million new automotive jobs” would be created. That’s great. That will help to balance out the oil and natural gas workers lost salaries, when they are making $12/hr installing Chinese made solar panels on people’s homes! More sub employment/unemployment checks and stimulus checks coming soon!

As if Patty Murray and Maria Cant-do anything-well are any less embarrassing. At least they are DemonRats so the expectations are low, when someone is a Republican the hope is that he/she will act accordingly, so those in Utah do have my condolences.

Good question and all through this past primary season I was scratching my head trying to figure REALLY where she stood on issues. One moment seemed OK for a Dim, next moment not so much. After this last crap storm election, I tend not to trust anyone until they have vetted themselves by deed. I would hope she's OK, but ??

As I recall Mitt's dad George was either the governor or senator from Michigan, then Mitt moved to Massachusetts. The he ends up in Utah and runs for senate. So I guess he followed the Hillary Clinton model of moving to a state with an opening and get yourself elected to the local office. Doesn't say much for their ethics.

My gut feeling tells me that Gabbard see's a gap in a Democrat party that has gone too far left. Maybe she feels that void can be filled by someone who talks a good moderate game.? Attempting to be the first female President

I suspect the DemonRats won't be able to handle success. the various factions may want their requests answered- at the expense of other factions. Since the "entitled" are more concerned with what they didn't get than what they did, there will be the tendency to think the other guys got the better deal. this could lead to a fracturing of the party when it comes to selecting a candidate. the divide and conquer strategy used on opponents generally doesn't work well when trying to consolidate a party. It remains to be seen if the Republicans can get their situation sorted out so as to see what common ground the Trump supporters and the Never-Trumps have so that they can develop a supportable platform.

I get the feeling she's an old-fashioned liberal, a-la Daniel Moynihan and Bill Bradley, with a stronger tendency to socialism than either of those guys. She certainly eschews the vitriol of the rest of the left, so we got that going for us, which is nice.

Not one thing Joe has done so far is pro economy. Neither jobs. When the stats come out showing the downward trend in both, which is virtually guaranteed, plug it for all it is worth. Remember the virtual and real bill boards - here is a suggestion: the curves showing the plunge and the accompanying slogan 'you have been sacrificed for idealism'.

Well as bidens name is basically only one mentioned ...he has done an incredible job in so few days and obviously was pulling the strings before.... :E Shrug: :A Ill:...strange I thought the Donald was in charge while this was happening....

BBC News - US economic decline not as bad as feared

My prediction on what the future holds is that before the next presidential election the country will do a repeat of 1976-80. Unemployment will increase, production of goods will decrease but with all the money that is being put into circulation, inflation will increase. In the late 70's the term was STAGFLATION. a stagnate economy matched with inflation. Ronald Reagan's definition was: a depression is when YOU are unemployed, a recession is when your NEIGHBOR is unemployed, and recovery is when Carter is unemployed. Update forty years by substituting Bidet/Horrible for Carter.

Anyone else noticed Nikki Haley of late? She is quite visible - sensible and measured responses to all the going's on of the Biden administration. Like a true ambassador. That is exactly what will win the day in 2022, and then in 2024. Joe is looking to be a rubber stamp for a whole slew of irrational steps with the only common theme being job destruction.

If it hasn't sold by next week I might be interested. Stock would have to be changed along with some other items. I'm already having a 416 Rigby built so money is a tad bit tight.

Hey pal! I'll take all the .375 bullets if they're available.
Thanks!
