Hi 10mm, I will take this brass.
Actually, grabbing it on behalf of @Royal27 if he wants it.
Either way, consider it sold.

Appreciate it gentlemen!

Will send email in the morning, but delete your email from here. Posting it is against the forum rules and for your safety. Scammers will use it ....

Thanks sold

Received but not the 50 unprimed as expected.
  • 39 unprimed
  • 14 fired and one with a damaged bell
The fired do not serve my purpose, nor are they what I paid for. After agreeing to a refund via e-mail @10mm has gone silent and I haven't received the refund for the misrepresented items.

Bad business….

Used brass should always be noted as such. ALWAYS!

@Royal27 This situation seems IMO to have become very common during the past year or so. Sometimes ammo, sometimes for a firearm. The common denominator is that the person selling seems to always be a "new member". My personal opinion is that if the seller is a new member and the potential buyer doesn't know him, disregard the post altogether....

I too have noticed this. It’s not to say the new member isn’t legitimate, but In the last 6 months I’ve seen a dramatic increase in new members selling and buying items here. What’s up?

I have seen this on a number of forums...and my swag is that 90% of the issues are with new members.

Hopefully it is just ignorance and not malfeasance. But have to agree with Dave's comments above.

Agree.

No way I buy an expensive gun from a new guy. For brass I took a shot.

Another situation that warns me to stay away is: the OP has photos of a nice rifle for sale. The members that respond try to get the seller to give an amount he wants for the rifle. In a few cases there have been maybe 3 or 4 different members offering to buy the rifle, but the seller will not give a price, he instead tells the potential buyers "I'll make you a deal but I don't want to take a beating on this. What do you think its worth?" This occurred at least 3 times in the past couple of years. I think the seller was finally removed from the forum. In a couple of cases at least, it was a "New Member". Haven't seen anything from him in several months

I feel the same way as far as GB. I’m sure the NRs are mostly legit, but what’s your recourse if they’re not? I have bought brass/ammo from them, but never a firearm.

Sounds like it's time for AH to implement a minimum post count to post in classified section. Seeing a lot of this on the various forums I frequent. Thoughts, @AfricaHunting.com ?
