Cal, you have some fine specialized toys!

Elk Hunter--brass sold years ago. I'm finding things I didn't know I had. Much more to come later. I have lots of .470 brass that can substitute.
Ridgewalker--it's been a great ride but it's time to pass them on.

Would you happen to know if the .465 dies are for the rimless version for a double rifle or the version for a bolt action rifle? Pheroze would know.

The dies are for a double rifle. I didn't know there was a rimless version for bolt actions.

I didn’t know either, but somebody here posted a photo of a cartridge and Pheroze said it was for a double and not the rimmed version for a bolt action? Apparently there’s a difference?

Looks like there is a mix-up in the language. Rimmed cartridges are for doubles and single shots and rimless are for bolt actions.

Your right. I got ahold of Pheroze, and he said they made a rimless for the .465 bolt action. But, they're as rare as hens teeth! Thanks!
