Charlie, back in about August, most all big calibers were on sale for half price and sometimes less. I bought .375, .404 and .416 at that time. Many of us that don't reload took full advantage of it......Sorry you apparently missed it! Since Oct or Nov, they have posted "many " sales again, but mostly the .470 and up, with limited bullet choices.

I wouldn't mind the out of stock for 404 Jeffery, If they would just make some bullets and sell as components. The only bad thing about the 404 Jeffery is the limited choice in bullets- that is, the inexpensive ones so that you can shoot a hundred or so practice/familiarization loads without feeling so wasteful of premium bullets.

I know when I placed the 1st order with Nosler, I was awaiting, as there was no shipping correspondence??? I did eventually call, she said they were in route and behind a bit. It was a wait but they made it!

The 404 Jeffery is listed but has been out-of-stock forever. Since Nosler doesn't make the bullets there is no component option. I've sent requests to them but they aren't interested in such a niche market.

I wasn't in the market for big bore ammo. But, as I was looking a sale was noticed at Midway for 7-08 and 300wsm accubonds. And, I picked up 400 .22 cal rounds on sale.
