@One Day... you called it, and here it is.

Best of luck indeed with the R8 (I have been on the verge myself, as you well know), but in all true friendship I would implore you: if there is any financial possibility, do not sell this rifle. Been there, done that, read my friendly lips: YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Put the R8 on a credit card if you have to (not recommended, but not irrecoverable - as selling the CZ/AHR .375 would be) but DO NOT SELL this rifle. Again: YOU WILL REGRET IT. I do not know if this would be in 1 year or 5 years, but you will...

Trust me my friend. If the R8 madness is not you, buy one, but by all means try to not commit the irreversible...
Just my $0.0000002 :)

I see your point my friend and I will make you a deal.
Buy this rifle from me, and if in two years you are correct...I'll buy it back +$500 to you.
You know I'm a man of my word and I'll do it.
What do you say?

I would actually trust you to that deal BeeMaa, because I DO believe we are both at a stage in life where we are men of our words.

The only snag for me is that I already own quasi exactly this .375 H&H rifle with all the improvements it has (I kept mine at 25 3/4"); AND I have its twin (with all the improvements) in .300 Wby Mag; AND I have its twin (with all the improvements) in .416 Rigby...

What I will do is let a few friends know and I will recommend your rifle. If I am still able to do basic math: base rifle ($1,100) + AHR upgrade #2 ($1,795.00) + Leupold VX3i 1.5-5x20mm ($520) + Warnes rings ($110) + Graco BreaKO Mercury Recoil Reducer ($60) = $3,585. Your $2,880 price is very competitive for a rifle that is barely a few years old, and in as-new shape.

Best of luck, and you know I mean it :)

Truth be told, I already knew you had the 375H&H with the extras, but you never know...grandkids always come to mind.
I appreciate the kind words and you getting the news out there.

Thank you my friend.

That would be a pussy cat to shoot.

I agree with the suggestion that at some time in the future, you will definitely regret selling it. All that modifying and tuning to your needs would be expensive and time consuming to duplicate.

Man, I wish I had the funds.:cry::cry::cry:

I don't have a good way of explaining how I feel about an inanimate object like a rifle, a car or even tools.
I like and enjoy them, but in the end they are a tool I use to accomplish a task.

If I found a hammer that pounded nails better than my old hammer, I wouldn't weep or feel bad for giving the old hammer a new home.
I also will not have two hammers that do the same job for very long, one of them will have to go.
The old hammer is continuing on its journey as am I, just on separate paths.

I hope this rifle has many adventure filled journeys in its path.

You have a great rifle for sale at a great price! You equally have a great philosophy about the selling of this rifle or any other material items which have run their course with your use and ownership. I’m there myself with firearms I haven’t shot or used for awhile. I’m moving on to firearms I’ve always wanted to own and use. But, maybe in this case, One Day is right or at least provoking more thought about your selling it? Good luck on your decision!

Thank you sir.
As for the decision...time will tell.

I agree with your decision 101%. Sold many, regret a few! What happened to the original stock?

It came from CZ with the Aramid stock (aka Bell & Carlson).
It was glass bedded by Wayne.

What a sweet looking rifle....if only!!!

What a sweet looking rifle....if only!!!
You being in Canada doesn't make things exactly easy.
Sorry for that.
Thanks for looking.

Keep your eyes peeled in the classifieds.
Have a few guys from the Great White North on AH.
Cheers.
