USA: 2 Members First Caribou Hunt

I had 2 fellow AH members take me up on my caribou offer. @lil 2 sleepy and @dailordasailor will be joining my family for the fall caribou hunt in August. I'm excited to see what the herd looks like this year and what Alaska will throw at these guys! I hope yall have fun and look forward to sharing a camp with you two!

Mine has started hunting too, but after going to South Africa with me last year she gets to choose the next holiday or two. We're visiting her family out in Newfoundland right now for three weeks. That takes care of this year's vacation budget!

Well we went out to camp for an overnighter to check trails and see how the camp area was (active mining going on around it). We didnt see any caribou (to early for them to be this far yet) but seen some moose and found a young bull caribou skull. Here are some pictures from the adventure.

Long sleeves is a good sign it wasn’t too hot there. This heats getting old in the valley.
