SOUTH AFRICA: KMG Hunting Safaris Honeymoon Hunt-Her Side of the Story

Well done and very well reported!
Thanks for sharing.

Wow, congratulations to both! awesome report, great trophies.
And a honeymoon to boot, pretty hard to beat!
and great shooting by the way!

That was one of the best reports I have read. Great trophies, and good shooting. Did you find out what was making you ill? Hope you're feeling better. And welcome to the addicted mob. You have been had.

Great report Gina and congrats on your beautiful trophies! Good shooting too. ;)

I was fortunate enough to hunt my eland and zebra on the place you got your Impala, and had a full tour. It's a fascinating place with a rich history, hey!

I can also attest to Marius' abilities particularly with inexperienced hunters. He guided my daughter onto her first ever animal and it couldn't have been a better experience (y)

Great report!

Marius is both a beast and a gentleman, all depending on what the activity is!

Good report Gina. Nice to read something other than us males beating our chests and giving tally numbers of dead critters and their sizes. There is so much more to the African experience, and it is always fun to hear it from someone who can appreciate it and also has that first time excitement!

Great report Gina! Africa is a special place, glad you enjoyed it. Also love that you named your rifle Lilith.

Great write up! Glad you had an fun trip; sounds like a perfect honeymoon. Congratulations!

Congratulations. If you don’t mind sharing how did you develop your excellent shooting technique. I’m interested so I can also have great confidence when I’m on my next safari. Thanks for any help and I loved your report!

Congrats on the wedding, and what a honeymoon. You two set the bar pretty high! May have to keep going back to Africa to keep up with expectations.(y)

Congrats on your hunt/honeymoon! Everyone on AH appreciates a good hunt report and you didn’t disappoint! Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on a successful safari. That you were ill and still hunted and reading what you wrote about not having an animal suffer shows me you are a TRUE HUNTRESS.(y) Best wishes for a long and healthy marriage. It's off to a heck of a start!
Aside that, on returning home, I bet your "kids" were glad to see you. :D

Thank you!! It was the most memorable honeymoon and we were very fortunate to be able to get to do this together for sure!

Thank you!! The report was so fun to write! I just had a virus. There was a lot of stuff going around in the states and the flu was going around where we were also. Mike caught what I had when we got home. We are both over it now, thank you for asking! Neither of us had to go to the Dr. It just had to run its course and we had to feel pretty icky for a few days, but nothing serious. :)

Thank you!! Wasn't that place just awesome?! Marius told us about every part of the places we saw there and the tour was the best!! I took a lot of pictures there.
How awesome that your daughter has had the experience of hunting in South Africa! Marius was great, I agree 100%!!

Thank you! I was so worried it was going to be too long, but I am pleased so many have read it and enjoyed it!!
