kudu breeder bull in SA- as usual internet differs on actual measurement but he’s still alive and growing

No doubt a monsta, but 72"?

That is no doubt a BIG Kudu. What Outfitter / Rancher owns him?

Tembani wildlife ....and yes did measure at 75.25 ". He is used in a breeding program . The natural breeding time for Kudu is right now.

Providing his "sons" take after him, they will wind up being studs as well. If all goes well, in a few years 75" will be the "new" 55". I won't see it but maybe my grandson Trip will.:):)

Do the breeders use a bull like that for AI or just let him chase cows once a year as nature calls?

I'm not involved in SA breding but from what I understand, the AI method hasn't produced very good results with kudu. Most of these bulls, are put in an area with a group of cows to breed as naturally as possible.... inside an enclosure :)

Not the prettiest shape of horns for me but hey congrats to the owner.
