Somebody buy this thing so I don't. It looks like it's out of the CZ custom shop. Thoughts?

I don't NEED a .450 Rigby . . . already have a .458 Lott. But still I just sold 3 guns so there is room in the safe . . .

This rifle has been listed for over a year. The gun shop is in Dallas, so anyone that's going to DSC could go by and drool on it.

Maybe they’ll deal on it.

What do you need to produce to buy a rifle in Texas? (besides money)

I have no need for it, but am surprised it hasn't sold at that price.

I’d buy it if @tarbe wouldnt shame me! Lol
Hell of a deal!

Stop it!

You are out of control!

You have a buffalo hunt coming up!

Do I sound like a wife? :D
Yes, except the Buff Hunt part! Got to admit the 450 is kinda sexy, it would really bring out my eyes

You have to admit though it would be a LOTTTT more sexy if it were a John Rigby .450 Rigby instead of a CZ! But then of course if would probably be $17,000 or more instead of $1700....

My CZ 550 in 500 Jeffery is pretty sexy. You need a little heft in your hands when shooting the 450 Rigby, 500 Jeffery or 505 Gibbs.

Now that is a gorgeous rifle. If for sale, what would be the asking price?

Not for sale, but thank you . It feeds and extracts flawlessly shoots sub MOA and balances perfectly in my hands. Had some work done on it but it's an extremely solid action. My favorite rifle :) I have about $2500 into it including scope and all work.

Based on appearances alone, you more than got your money's worth on that deal!

Thanks! here's two 3 shot groups taken at 50 yards. It's got a 1 in 10" twist McGowen barrel (courtesy of the CZ Custom Shop where it was made). Both groups were shot with 570g TSX bullets at approx 2300 fps. Thanks again!

Sometimes need has nothing to do with it. They did deal on it. Called them up and it's on the way for $1565 delivered. I'm pleased. Now I need to go shoot a buff with it.

Congratulations!

Congratulations.
How much are you asking for the 458Lott? ;)

I love my Lott. It’s a Ruger RSM. Had it glass bedded, the action worked and new sights installed. It’s very accurate as well, which makes the purchase of another .45 just absurd!
