Colorado Buck Edition Rifle from Montana Rifle Company

Thanks Ron, you are making good on your promises.

Montana
Will there be a prototype African at Dallas show and what is your booth number? Thank you

Excellent news! So is the left-hand PH action in the works or is it still just an idea?
Sorry, while we make both short and long action in left hand , the previous owners always reported that it was "coming soon" but the never pursued the molds. We are working hard to deliver guns sold and getting the company turned around(going very well) . At this time we do not see this in near future. Molds and fixtures are extremely expensive!! But hopefully in the future!

Checked out your new lineup on your website. New models and chamberings. I guess I’m going to have to add a new sibling to my Montana .338 RUM.

I see you have the .404 Jeff online as well. Any chance to get one in a LOP of 13 3/4 or 14 instead of 13 5/8?

Thank you for your honesty! I would definitely buy some some your left handed rifles if you had a dealer in the UK or Europe.

All the best!

Yes for sure, I don't have booth number handy Im at SCI Reno but will post asap
Ron - I see you have updated your website to include the new options available...I am impressed.
There are a few things that I believe would be a big plus on your African DGR that I would like to ask you about.
Iron sights, if you are building a DG rifle from scratch why not include iron sights?
Barrel band front sling swivel, again why not?
Why don't all the caliber use the PH action with a double square bridge?
Can you explain these for me please?

Well shoot! Wish I had known about your XAR in November! I would have jumped on it for my granddaughter! It looks like a perfect Colorado high country rifle!

Sure, but for 1/8 inch is it necessary?? we can add a Limbsaver pad to easily get the length.
give us a shout!!

While we have seen may "coming soon" form the previous owners, there has been no effort to proceed. We pride ourselves in offering the LH models in both short and Long action- but the PH action in LH requires a ton of work and expense to bring on board-so wanting to always be honest with all I think it is quite away form reality. We have been making tremendous progress in increasing delivery times , increasing quality and in fact just getting out the RH PH actions and guns.
best
Ron

How about a 416 Rem MAg?

Well for sure all will have sights and Barrel band front sling swivels int the DGR series. !! the PH action was added after the other actions were designed -so would be a major overhaul to add that in the long and short actions. !!
