Zimbabwe Trophy Buffalo Bull Hunt No Hassle & All Inclusive US$8,750

Damn, if I wasn't booked I'd be there in August;)

Sorry, I know you've heard plenty of this I'm all ready booked bs:rolleyes:

If Trump pulls these damned Tarrifs and by some miracle milk price comes back by October, I'll be thinking very hard about this if it's still not booked. Shocking as that would be....
I believe this is the first time I have read a post stating that a member may or may not go hunting based on the price of milk! Lots of based on the price of oil future hunts, but have never seen milk before....you are a complex man!

And it has nothing to do with Canada's tarrif on milk that has been there forever.

Mexico is our number one dairy product export customer. And China is important. So is Canada, but honestly pretty far down the list.

Trump is trying to make it about Canada as far as dairy... And those tariffs are unfair to us producers and Canada's consumers... but pretty small market impact to us.

So really what happened is the retaliatory tariffs by several nations reacting mostly to Trump's aluminium and steel tariffs. And dairy products being included in those tarrif packages.

Knocked the hell out of dairy futures in the past few weeks.

And on top of that, I'm pouring several thousand yards of concrete this year. And rebar has doubled in price. Tariffs are just bad for business, consumers and Capitalism in general.

Soybeans taking a hit too but if it don't rain won't matter much to me as I won't have any

Hi- thinking of doing this Buff hunt. Does anyone have experience with Lon? Can you pm me if you do?

What a fantastic offer ! Work commitments make this impossible this year but I envy whoever does take this up. Cape buffalo would be my personal pinnacle of hunting Africa.

Hi everyone at this time our no hassle buff hunt is sold out. In fact we had to get supplemental quota to fill the demand. Unfortunately the price will be higher in 2019, but will still be a great offer.

Our camp construction should be completed by 10, July then we start furnishing the tents & dinning area. Even with the very, very noisy builders we have had elephant, buffalo, leopard as close as 100 meters of camp!

We will start building pans close to camp this week and we are so very fortunate to have a bore hole that produces 6000 liters per hour so we have a excess of water a very rare thing in Africa.

We did not get our "promised" lion permit this year so there is still a very big black maned lion with two lionesses killing cattle & goats just outside our normal hunting area. The small pride has accounted for over 200 goats and 100 cattle, which is a devasting loss to the people in the village. Fortunately due to the chiefs strict rules on poaching these lions have not been dealt with by other means!

Hans from Sweeden will be our first hunter. He only wants walk and stalk for buffalo and if he finds a elephant that suits him he will add elephant to his hunt! Leave the cruiser in camp and try to wear out your Courtney's. The way we like to hunt!

Cheers, Lon Denney

Lon I like the thought about trying to wear out a pair of Cortneys. Is that even possible? Best of luck bru

What is the dollar cost of these animals? ie $/cow etc.

Cattle are somewhere between $200.00 to $300.00 each, goats $20.00 to $25.00. That is a lot of money to these people! We could have taken these lion PAC and probably still can, but then the people receive $0.00 dollars. If legally hunted the people would have received $8 000.00
There is a lot more to this story and the antis play a big part in it.
Due to the fact that the antis monitor these web sites, I have chosen not to comment on what has taken place, but we are fighting back! If people only knew how unscrupulous and self serving these people are and how much money is involved!

Lon, Sounds like a great camp and things are moving. Good luck with your first hunt.

Hello all, We were just informed that we could have two non trophy/non exportable elephants, the hunts would have to take place in the 2nd half of October, November, but be forewarned rain could play havoc with this hunt especially towards the end of November. We have not set a dollar figure on this hunt, but it would probably be under $10,000.00.

A question from all who reads this. The Chief of our area is a very fine man, who really is trying to make a difference in conservation while at the same time balance land for his people. Would you as a hunter want a "chiefs" dinner, where we invited the chief to join you for dinner at camp. I guess more or less like a ships "Captains table".

I am open to your thoughts.
Thank You Lon

Brilliant idea. Meeting and conversing with the people supporting and effected by hunting is an incredible opportunity for any international hunter. (y)

I wish you well in your fight against the disinformation and abuse from the Anti hunters that support poaching.

I think this is an great idea.
I do this on many of my tripp.
You get good infos, it is nice to hear from both side, new friends, it it great for your camp also.
But: Sometimes they want money for this...
Please: Dont miss-understand me, if it is an little present ("some dollar") okay, but then it becomes a Business, These People get a wrong idea.

And:
I mostly make a little party (important: not mutch alcohol) with the tracker and drivers, pp. at the end of the safari.
A party with the "small people", to involve them also, to say "thank you", to give them "credit and respect".
(in my eye more important as an - so called - tipp.)

Best wishes.
Maybe we see us.
:)
