Books are a frustrating investment. When dealing with collectable books like many of these seem to be, condition is every bit as important as edition and title. That can swing the value enormously - and rare book collectors are as critical of minute variances in condition as coin and gun collectors. Should any be in Africans, they will have little market interest in the US or Europe regardless of rarity. You also are, unfortunately, located in tough spot to get a buyer to look them over. If there are enough rare titles and editions, someone like Ludo Wurfbain might think the trip was worthwhile. Also, a book dealer might offer you a commission deal - though that certainly won't address your need for quick turnover. Finally, remember selling them all to a reseller means the you will get a wholesale offer. Not knowing the titles, condition, edition, etc. I have no idea what that wholesale offer would be. Though typically, it will be 50-60% of their retail value - that might reach your 100K goal - or it might be less - likely far less. The surest way to achieve a retail return is selling them individually through something like this forum and ebay. That, unfortunately will take time, work, and some will likely never sell.
