I'm right there with you! Waiting for Utah before I put in for Idaho. As usual
Cards have started getting hit as of last Thursday for Utah. I think it will take 'til mid week before all done. Hopefully results up on website next week.
Pretty much all hail Mary's for me, but you never know! Fingers crossed.

For me, Henry Mountains deer, Nine Mile Big Horn Sheep, Henry's Bison and bonus points for everything else.
Great reminder for Wyoming. I've been accumulating points for deer and antelope. Going to be points again this year.

I have spent a small fortune over the last 12+ years. The only good thing I drew was elk tag in New Mexico and antelope tag in Wyoming. I have no hope for this year....

I struck out in Idaho and Montana for high quality permits, will be hunting general seasons ! Was my 38th year applying for sheep.

Well, the dreaded email from Utah arrived 25 minutes ago. No surprises, just confirmation.
UNSUCCESSFUL on all apps
Now I can apply for Idaho

I still have a shot in the Idaho draw, but the tags I'm applying for are long shots. Will probably be hunting general seasons for elk, whitetail and bear. Lion and wolf next winter.

Yeah I pretty much apply to all the long shot ones. Utah the odds are horrible but you have to apply because you just never know. I got Nevada and then need to make a decision on Arizona.

In five years we will probably be having this same conversation.

I was trying to draw unit 16 with 2 of my picks last year and unit 23 as a third choice.
My first time to put in for a draw anywhere for anything.
I drew 23 which is not nearly as good as 16 even though it's across the road from it.
I felt blessed, though, in getting a pretty nice 6x6 with a kicker.
unit 16 would have easily produced a much larger bull.
