I am looking for the largest possible ranch/concession for

Lechwe
Waterbuck
Nyala
Bushbuck
Impala (probably two!!)
Black wildebeest

EC safaris was one of the places i have been considering. Not being used to hunting fenced areas I feel the larger the concession the better the hunting experience will be. Any thoughts?
Its possible 2/3 more hunters join me wanting 5/6 head of plainsgame each.

Cheers
Ali

I am sure an Outfitter will be along soon enough with a reply.

Crusader Safaris has a lot of land mostly unfenced

Mankazana Safaris in the Eastern Cape has a large amount of free range area. Also it's home of the New World Record free-range Cape Kudu, taken with traditional flintlock muzzle loader last May. I've been there twice, and will be returning next month. In 2015, a gentleman took a 31" Waterbuck previous to my hunt.

Here it is at the local taxidermy shop. Kevin

That look's like a nice waterbuck to me. Congratulations.

I wish he were mine sir. Lord willing, I will be able to post a photo of one of my own, when I return.
I should add, the new World Record Cape Kudu is SCI, not Rowland Ward. Kevin

I had a great hunt with Frontier Safaris

Hi Alimufti,
We can help you with this hunt. We have big hunting concesions in the Eastern Cape with farms of 25.000 to 30.000 hectar under one fence.
Drop me a PM with your email and will get into details.
Keep in touch!
Regards

I would second the comment regarding Crusader Safaris, Andrew Pringle, represented by @James Jeffrey - HuntingAgent.com

Hunting large Conservancy's. Low/cattle/sheep fences. And they have several camps and historic houses spread out over many varying regions of the EC..

If you want the biggest piece of land you need to go with Coenraad Vermaak Safaris he is a sponsor here.

They got something like 200 000 + acres.

Remember big properties usually mean exclusive and also means big prices.

@alimufti we can offer you a hunt in the Limpopo region of South Africa in a big fenced concession, it is in the hart of the Waterberg (between Nylstroom and Vaalwater), the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. If you are interested please send me a mail with more information and i can work on a quote for you.

Check with Marius from KMG safaris he is also a sponsor here. He has some very large concessions he can hunt also with very reasonable trophy fees.

For a great Eastern Cape hunt, you can also check with @Game 4 Africa Safaris who are also sponsors on AH. They are currently offering some very nice hunt packages. Fly into Port Elizabeth and the hunting is in the Grahamstown area. There are several hunting reports posted on this site as well.

Hello Alimufti
You can e-mail me on dksafaris@gmail.com.
I think we are what you are looking for at the right price.

We have free range hunting on 6 of our 8 ranches.

On another note I would agree with Roan regarding Conraad Vermaak Safaris.
They have a concession of 200 000 plus acres (96 000 hectares) that is owned by a Russian billionaire.
They are my neighbors and we get along very well. But like Roan said big properties = exclusive = expensive.

Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Hi Alimufti
We are situated in the eastern cape and hunt low fence properties.
We have over 200k of adjacent and contiguous area that we hunt on. We also have a reserve that is 65square miles as a neighbor that has free roaming elephant and big 4.
Prices are very competitive . Don't hesitate to contact me for more information.
Attached some video footage of the area

Talk to Marius of KMG

I hunted with Mankazana safari's last October and had a fantastic time - truly wild, walk and stalk. Plenty of kudu, impala, bushbuck, warthog, blesbok, zebra.

I hunted with Crusader Safaris in the Baviaan River and Karoo areas. Excellent facilities, PH, and owner. Tyson was our PH, Andrew Pringle is the owner. They only book one group at a time so you have full run of the place and don't have to compete with others in camp. To me, that meant a lot. It was just my son and I at camp. We each had our own rondavals with shower, tub, king beds, and a woodburning stove that was already started each day when we got back. I can't say enough about how great we were treated and how great the staff were. We took two silver SCI black wildebeests on our first day! I also took a gold SCI impala. We took eland, springbok, warthog, blesbok, baboons, waterbuck, gemsbok and very good kudus. We could have taken a lot of other species like reedbuck, steenbok, duiker, bushbuck, etc.. We are planning on a return trip with them.

Hi Ali

We can assist with a safari in the Eastern Cape

The Malaria Free Eastern Cape offers the finest hunting in the country with over forty different species available to hunt.

We exclusively hunt on a wide range of terrain that spans vast semi-arid desert, dense coastal bush, mountains and open savannah. We have access to over 3 million acres of privately owned land and game reserves, including over 700,000 acres of free range areas, bearing forth the high standard in trophy quality.

With over forty different species available to our hunters, and many occurring in a variety of habitats, we have found the need to establish camps within selected areas. This often allows our hunters to enjoy more than one area on the same safari, while ensuring we achieve the very best in trophy quality.

Our Coastal Area is where Camp is situated a mere two hour drive from Port Elizabeth, making for comfortable arrival and departure days. Our Northern Area is situated in the Great Karoo, with camps ideally situated for mountain and plains hunting.

Our camps vary from comfortable safari-style homes to small and personal rustic camps in the north, with luxurious lodging on our family owned exclusive Game Reserve in the south. You can look forward to being spoiled, the African way, and enjoy some of the best local cooking South Africa has to offer.

Thank you.
Hope to hear from you at your soonest.

Yours truly
Magdel Oosthuizen

Hi Alimufti, we can certainly provide you with a quote in Kwa Zulu Natal, low fence and fenced areas will be hunted, all large properties. Great quality game to be expected. Inbox me if you are interested Sir? Most of the species you are looking for do not occur naturally in the Kalahari which is where my 200 000 acre+ concession is located.
