I don't know you. I have never met you. You may be a great guy to have in camp. As an orthopedic surgeon, there are some patients that I tell that "I just don't think I can help you" as they are patients I think I just can not satisfy. After your post, I am sure there are some outfitters who feel the same way.

i do enjoy reading all the posts. i forgot how public forums are. you guys are the best.

anyways i have hunted buffalo on many occasions. i passed a 43" bull in zimbabwe because he was high fenced and he was in the same place every day chewing on hay. it wasnt exactly the bull i signed up for. then there was this one time i was sold a sable that was 46" that had mysteriously died before i arrived. ive also hunted south africa a ton. trust me when i say that most of the ph's in the area know exactly what they have. they can send pictures of what to expect and anyone with any experience in south africa knows this. as for coutada 10...... its a challenge, herds are huge and the genetics are exactly what i like. most likely the bull i would shoot would be about 38" but it isnt about width. i want a very specific look for a euro mount. im fascinated by a euro mount buff that just looks amazing. ive shot everything imaginable including a 9foot leopard, 60" kudu and a 90lb elephant. i want a goal. i dont want to just go shoot an animal. i want a dream to shoot for and i want my goal so high that i may never fill it so that i can keep dreaming about my dream buffalo when im not hunting. the minute i shoot that buffalo my dream is over. what better way to end my dream then with my soul mate at my side. so if you dont have exactly what i want then i dont want to waste my time looking at buffalo i wont shoot anyways. i would love for my wife to be there when i reach a goal she will never understand. if you guys cant understand this then that is fine. but i want a hunt and i want the perfect buffalo and i want my wife to see the husband that she never gets to experience.

ive lived 100 life times in the 39 years ive been alive. i was a father at 19. at 23 i invested $6000 and turned it into $20 million. i lost that fortune only to build an empire twice that size. i lost another fortune and built back an even larger empire. my divorce was my final nail. im tired and im exhausted. i have no time left for pride or arrogance. to say that god has broke me in half is an understatement and once agian god is giving blessings beyond fathom. i have no desire to fight and i have nothing left in me but humility. i also have no time to try to compose the perfect message in order to appease the masses. i have a goal for me and my wife in mind. i wanted to ask some outfitters for a service and that is all i care to do.

yup as i said only real chance of taking a buff from a photo is sa. no probs with anyone doing it, but no way i would do that instead of heading to a good coutada in moz......or gma in zambia etc.....but i understand you wish to make it as easy as poss, as you want to break your new madam into what you like doing, so probably the best and only option for you....unless you suddenly find she loves being in the middle of nowhere

Tap...it sounds as though you and I could be friends...lol...I m often misunderstood on some subjects here also. But seriously I m sure you are a HUNTER not just someone looking to kill something. It's certainly a tall order to request a 40 plus inch buffalo for 10k but then again you may just find it. There are quite a few ethical PH's here in my opinion. Good luck with your new wife and your quest to find the right buffalo. Keep us posted.

however........ i got a city girl her bud! lets run her ass through some razor wire grass and laugh when she comes out the other side crying

geezuz son. i want her to think hunting is a gentlemans sport and something that is always enjoyable. she doesnt need to think were all crazy!

she will never understand why i swim in croc infested swamps, play with razor wire grass, or desire to get charged by a pissed off buffalo.

i want her to think hunters are sane. not crazy psychopaths who society may never understand the passions of.

now if u will excuse me i have an ass to make of myself so i can sit back and laugh at everyone who thinks im the biggest jerk theyve ever seen.
