Beautiful rifle sir! I love number 1 rifles.

Very pretty, I like it a lot!

I remember when these were sold new and I didn't buy one at the time. Head slap moment right now.

Best of luck selling it

Thank you sir. I do love #1s and have several in tropical format. Selling this one because I feel it needs to go to Africa and I'm not going there (not for big ones anyway!)

Then you should get this one! My asking $$ is what I paid for it. It is a pretty one and does have nice wood.;)

I had one of these and sold it to a close friend. Unfortunately when he passed away in was not able to buy it back. I've been wanting another one since but the timing just hasn't been right.

Let me know if you want it It's a nice one. Sorry about your friend. Thanks

so charlie what you waiting for? you havent got one of these ........:A Stirring:....;)

Spike that snake charm could almost work but I have a 458 Lott in a number one! And I have the Guide Gun in 416. So my African battery is missing one thing........

What I am looking for is the #1 chambered in 375 H&H in stainless steel with the laminated stock to match my 300 win mag! It should be a model number 1398.
I know Ruger made them but haven't come across one! Although one of our AH members had a stainless steel laminated stock #1 in 458 Lott for sale on here last year, but after I had bought mine with walnut stock and blued.
If anybody comes across one let me know! Farrokhrt you wouldn't happen to have one of those in your safe for sale!

Sorry, my 375 H&H is a Winchester model 70 and that and my 9.3x62 sporting Mause and #1 9.3x74 are the biggest calibers I want to keep. I sold my 50 Alaskan another #1. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for. Should be easy?

Edward I think I need that job!

By the way Christmas is not that far in the future and if I find a number one stainless in 375 momma will not have to shop for me! And if you are tired of that double of yours and want to see it in a good home wrap it up and ship to me. I'll pay you with the wal-mart wages on time payment if that's ok with you.

Guys the number ones are just great shooting rifles. I hope somebody on here will pick this one up. The wood on it is very nice to my way of thinking.
