Hello,
i am going to Africa in June for another hunt, i am after information on a agent that can help me with the paperwork and meet me at the airport to assist with getting the firearm through. I have tried hunters permits Africa but cannot get a reply to emails or face book.

Tank you Clint

Certainly Riflepermits.com

Thanks everyone for your support!

Hallo Clint please have a look at our services on our website and do not hesitate to contact us should you have any other questions…

Looking forward in assisting you in South Africa!

Agree with riflepermits good well know company.

We used Rifle Permits in 2013. It made a total breeze in Joberg getting through the SAPS office. Also, if you are going in June you'd better get on it now because mailing paperwork to South Africa can be dicey. Don't scrimp on the cost of mailing, its a stack of paperwork.

You can email or fax it also

I use AfricaSky. Repeatedly. Efficient and friendly. If there is a problem they fix it. Like lost ammo case last week. I, too, would have been lost without their help.

try gracy travel agency.they do meet and greet and gun permits.

If you are required to get paper copies to any rifle permit company that you use do not mail it but bite the bullet and use FedEx or UPS.

If you mail it it might and then again it might not get there. Even when the cost of mailing it is only $20 it is better to use FedEx at $120

Unless they've changed their policy they only offer their greet and gun to people who also book flights through them.

It sure could have changed, but last year I tried to use them simply because I had used them the year before and was told no because I didn't book tickets through them. Riflepermits.com got my business because of that.

The year before when I did use them I swear I paid additional for the preapproval and firearms, but maybe I'm mistaken?

its been awhile since ive used them so you could be right.seems like more and more crap is changing to make it less enjoyable to get to africa and back.

More and more crap is changing to make it less enjoyable to get back to the grocery store and back.... :A Surrender:

Yep Henry at rifle permits

being a Canadian used to waiting in line for all services I fill out the paperwork myself and spend an extra 30min waiting for the incompetent SPS to get to me. Unless you have a connecting flight the paperwork is easy and I'm sure a well placed 500 rand would expedite the process

Afton Guest House does this service also and does a great job, plus having a nice place to stay near the airport for layovers. Used them twice.
