Sable + Nyala and plains game hunt 2015

It's a nice offer if you ask me. I don't know this outfitter as he is newer to the AH community and like everyone else he is trying to make a living. He makes his offer and it must stand on its own. Who knows if a serious hunter were to contact the guy he might negotiate a little but if a person thinks he can do better then walk......and book elsewhere.
If you check this site on a regular basis you will find deals and more deals. The truth is some of the deals are simply a deal in the eye of the right beholder. Does it fit the budget and time frame for a particular hunter and is it composed of the animals he wants ? The price is not always the deal.
My second safari was not the best price but it was a deal to me because the package had what I wanted and I got to hunt again with a PH that I liked a lot. In the end it became a great deal due to the quality of the trophies I got and the memories I made on the hunt.

I dont claim to be an expert by any stretch but I've commonly seen Sable alone higher than this. Kudu are going to run around 2500 and Nyala are going to be around 2800. Plus adding a sable lets say on a low end 10k then add in Daily fees at give or take 300 to 400/day. It looks like a pretty smokin good deal to me. Plus he's adding a gemsbuck and warthog, neither of which interests me that much as I have taken a nice gemsbuck and a warthog is just a pig to me. At anyrate had I not booked hunts for this summer and next I'd been all over this. To each to his own. Best of luck

Hey Gizmo, you can get greater kudu in Namibia for $1,400 on the cape I ve been priced 2k, nyala 2200, gemsbuck 1100, and warthog 450. So that means sable and day rates $10,100..... Don't know if it really is a super deal or not. Don't know what they would charge for sable on the cape...

Right, Ive spoke with this outfitter here recently, he has some pretty good deals going in Zimbabwe which are really interesting me. From the research I did on similar packages to this one I found it to be a pretty good deal. I just have to make up my mind whether my next hunt will be a leopard or this or a Zimbabwe Croc and Hippo. I planned on getting a little more serious after I get back from my lion and buff hunt this summer. If I end up doing a leopard I may add some PG stuff to that hunt.

Oh wow...lion and buff! Great.. I am now in the planning stage of doing a buffalo hunt in September of 2017 just before I head down to the cape for my plains game hunt. Kinda kill 2 birds on one trip.. Looking hard at Paw print in their limpopo area. Spoke to Bill C today their U.S. contact. If it pans out it's a killer deal by buffalo standards today. Almost a no brainer.

Heres my way of looking at this package:

On this site there have been 5 day sable hunts for $6950-$7500.00 These hunts were all inclusive for 5 days so your daily rates are included.
Nyala can be had for a good price for $2200.00
Kudu price $2000.00 would be a good price.
Gemsbok $950- $1100.00
Warthogs $350- $450.00

Add it up. A good deal would be around $12500.00
If you can sell it for more then go ahead. For me a good deal would be in the $12K range.

Bear hunter then you would love my bargain.
$475 x min 10 days
Sable $9000
Kudu $3000
Warthog $400
Nyala $2800
Roughly $20 350 and more than a 10% saving off my price list.

Bottom line is.... GOOD DEAL MANGWA.

Oh wow...lion and buff! Great.. I am now in the planning stage of doing a buffalo hunt in September of 2017 just before I head down to the cape for my plains game hunt. Man I fell into deal with my current PH. I had a buff hunt booked and ended canceling it as I felt I was getting hosed a bit. Andri hooked me up with a buff/lion/pg hunt including my kids and wife for the same price I was spending on just a buff hunt that I was going to have to pay trophy fees for the kids to shoot a kudu and zebra. He went all in with everything and included a nice maned lion for the same price.

Mostly there is a ryme and reason to pricing. It is always good to compare apples to apples.
