Can I bring my 243 for you to autograph @Bob Nelson 35Whelen ?

That sounds like a fun deal - I’ll see if I’m clear and can make the drive. Won’t know here for few weeks.

Los Cucos looks like the real deal too!

Rats....that's the weekend of F1 races in Austin. I would have loved to meet up.

I'm really looking forward to getting to th USA and catching up with some fellow AHers.
It should be a hoot.
I will even be bringing some of our famous VEGEMITE for y'all to try and I may even introduce y'all to the finest run that God let us invent. The world famous Bundy rum.
Both of these will put lead lead in your pencil, hairs in your chest and turn the weak into brave.

One good measure of Bundy and you would take in a charging lion with a pen knife. Sorry but it won't give you the balls to take in an angry wife but then again nothing will.
VEGEMITE on toast is the breakfast if champions.
Bob

I think an acetylene torch would be a better option.
@sgt_zim
To hard to get thru customs and to expensive.
I can buy a 5" grinding disc for a dollar. Either way let the sparks fly, but don't damage the action It can be used for a nice 358 or 250 Savage.

Or stick it in the chamber and open her up a bit for me,

Then I’ll have a .243 AI - even better right?

Let me check with my people. :-). Grew up shooting geese in Garwood and El Campo and I cannot recall a place taking reservations. :-).
Talked with management and they wanted a number of how many to set aside an area either inside or patio outside. And make sure had enough servers.

Mark, I was just kidding. I get it. There was a great Italian place down there as well (CTE kicking in). I recall it was actually in Garwood. May be wrong. Hope I can make it. May even bring my .224 TTH for Bob to admire. :-). Deer slaying son of a gun. :-).

We might need some mariachis to give Bob the true Tex Mex delight lol!
@dchum
Are mariachis any thing like margaritas.
My brother is that lazy he thinks Manual Labour is a Mexican peasant and won't have a tacho in his car because he don't like Mexican food. He's not real bright my brother.
My wife and I both like tex MEX but nowadays only like it mild, can't handle spicy nowadays.

You can rent them here. Still kinda spendy even at that, but well worth it to get rid of the scourge.

@Bob Nelson 35Whelen, please let me know if you happen to find yourself on the East Coast, somewhere in Georgia. I promise not to bring a 243. Hope you enjoy your visit to our wonderful country.

After we leave Texas we will be at Baton Rouge. We were going to go up thru Georgia but decided to go inland thru Tennessee to Chattanooga, Roanoke then into Virginia and fly out of Philadelphia. Figured we can see the coast at home but wanted to see the beautiful fall colours thru Tennessee.
