OK Boys, let’s play a little trivia!

Did you know A Fist Full of Dollars is an illegal copy of a Samurai movie called “Yojimbo”? Sergio Leona (spelling?) got sued and had to pay royalties to the Japanese producers.
The entire story and most of the quotes, including the one above, are a direct copy of Yojimbo.
You can find it YouTube with subtitles and I recommend you watch it.

Years ago I was side tracked while on the internet, looking one thing up and finding trivia. Seems several movies have been remade from original Japanese movies. IIRC, the original movie The Magnificent Seven was one. Original movie was something like, or about seven samari.

Edit: Didn't see @Tubby's Canteen already replied with this info.

The movie your talking about is the seven samurai it was just westernized for the magnificent seven most of the made for tv magnificent seven movies correlate to samurai movies. Another useless piece of trivia Yule Brenner was shorter than Steve McQueen which lead to all the scenes with both actors interacting requiring odd camera angles to hide that fact.
