First I'd like to apologize, because I did not immediately presented on the forum.

I am a member of the AH forum from 2011, but since I'm far away from a serious hunting in Africa, in financial terms, i am not openly involved in the forum and I just read the comments of other members around certain calibers of ammunition, rifles, equipment, etc.

I live in the south of Europe, precisely in Serbia. Mainly hunt foxes, jackals, badgers, wolves, roe deer and wild boars usually. Sometimes I go fishing.

Of course, as the desire of every hunter, it is also my desire that once in a time i come to hunt in Africa. So who knows maybe in the future i have a chance to come hunt in Africa...

And I apologize if my English is not good.

Best regards to all hunters!

Your English is fine, welcome to AH even if a somewhat belated introduction! Pictures from hunting in Serbia would be a fine idea.

Welcome to AH .300WinMag! Glad you decided you jump in and be part of the conversation.

Your English beats my Serbian. (Ваш енглески побеђује моја српски)

Glad you joined and started typing.

Wolf hunting. I always think they have been gone from Europe for a long time.

Welcome, I have spent 5 or 6 days in Belgrade in 2002 with a Serbian friend and had a great time. As far as hunting goes, I worked in the Baranja area of Croatia on the Serbian border in 1997-98. There were stags, roe deer, wild hogs, pigs and pheasants. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to hunt as I was working for the UN. We had a great time though in driving at night around Tito's old hunting camp located next to the Dunav River. Don't worry about your English, we'll figure it out!

Welcome 300, your English is way better than mine, good to finally have you on board.....:)

My best always

Welcome ! No problem with your English!

Welcome to AH!

Welcome to AH from Minnesota USA

welcome and enjoy the site

I live about 80 kilometers north of Belgrade, about 100 kilometers from the place where you worked on the border between Serbia and Croatia! :) You see what a small world!

I actually live in the northern part of the country, where there are no mountains, plains and marshy land. But I go to my friend who lives in the south-east on the border with Bulgaria, where is the Old-mountain(it is a large mountain range), they have a many wolves, red deers and even bears.

On the terrain where I hunt, we hunt wild boar in the night, or jackals and foxes... Jackals are real pest, is hard to hunt, they are very timid and have a lot of large marshy grass and various channels where they can hide in their holes.

If you think that the whole Europe densely populated with very pronounced to the transport infrastructure, not so on the Balkan Peninsula, ex-Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, we have a lot of parts that are almost completely uninhabited, especially in mountainous areas.

Welcome to AH, just having the interest to chime in on here will get your blood boiling for Africa. Someday you will make a trip.
It is worth every penny spent.

I live in South Dakota, USA. The whole state in roughly 750,000 people. We are roughly split down the middle by Lake Oahe, (Missouri River) so we say around here, East River or West River. I live East River, it is flat, mostly agricultural lands, cattle, lots of water with fantastic fishing, just ask all the Minnesota fishermen that come this way. LOL! Great Pheasant, Goose, Deer hunting. Fox, Coyote (over run with these).

West River is rolling hills, cattle ranches, some farm land, Deer, Antelope, Grouse, Coyotes. Farther West is Black Hills, Mount Rushmore if you have heard of it? Vacation hot spot! Deer, Elk, Ruff Grouse, Big Horn Sheep, Mt. Goat.

Land of infinite variety. God's Country!!!

"A Dream can be relived, again and again in Africa."

Welcome to AH... enjoy and have fun, chime in from time to time... ask questions and we are here to help you out.

Now Roger - An East River guy you say. We will not hold that against you.
