Smokepole, please accept my comments as an opinion expressed.
I have not hunted with Pendabala, but can certainly vouch for Aubrey as a decent, straight shooting and up-standing fella... no B.S.
I have found Aubrey to be honest, reserved, great company and, considering some of the results he achieves, quite humble.
What Aubrey is not... and that is a salesman.
I would expect from him that expected results and experiences, conditions, camps etc to be exactly as described by him.
I envy your opportinity of experiencing some of the fine hunting Aubrey can provide, and if I was in a financial position to do so myself I would not hesitate.
Best regards,
Paul.

thanks for the reply. sounds like a good chance of success with a good guy. if i get this done then the next trip could be to hunt your buff. saw the father and son offer you have. too bad my son is 28. he hunted for his first time ever in s. africa in 2009. he took me for my christmas present. since then we've been pheasant hunting a couple of times..i think he is coming around. it's pretty wonderful to get to hunt with him some-just took 64 years. thanks again smokepole

Yes. I do.
I hunted with Pelandaba last fall I will post a hunt report. I had a great time with Aubrey and the guys in camp were great as well. Got my biggest buff (42") and the bigger one (named "dolphin") is still on the loose at last report.
