And here I was concerned about taking a 257Roberts and 25-06 with 120gr Swift A-Frame bullets for plains game. Thinking I might not have enough gun to do the job. I was going to start working up some 647gr Barnes bullet loads for my 50BMG. I see now that they are all too big. The only trouble now is all of my 22RF are semi-auto. Guess I will need to get another rifle before going to South Africa next year.

I was actually considering a Drilling with the top 2 barrels 22LR and the bottom one 22Mag for that last follow up shot as it disappears into the brush.

You know Sammy, it is well known among those who have hunted all over the world (Cliffy of Cheers here) that it is shot placement rather than bullet size that does the killing. This was first brought to mind among the Carthinagins many centuries ago, and, by the way, there is some conjecture that there really was a pink elephant long ago and that the current definition is a manifistation of long held astrological beliefs . :-)
( I really have more of an affinity for Becker than Cliffy, but Cliffy ain't bad :-)

I just contacted HEYM USA and ask them about a Custom Double Rifle in a 22 cal pellet as I will be adding Pink elephants to the list but before they could give me a price they must have lost their phone connection they must be having bad weather there.

It's a good thing there are not pink elephants. Who knows everyone might want a diamond ring and a pink elephant?

You are the only person I would have ever expected to post on this thread that a double 22lr even exist.... Guess the guy had more dollars than cents(sense)...
I could not imagine what a 22lr double costs. The guys at Pauls facility were probably going, WTF, oh it for an American...
BTW, heres to Jaco....

i think it was the same price as a full size rigby , as it was the same amount of work if not more. i dont know if you have had a chance to check out peter hofers guns at sci , he builds small calibre doubles amongst a big variety of guns. Peter Hofer Jagdwaffen - Welcome . very expensive but stunning guns.

I have seen Peter Hofer's offerings even in 22 cal and they are absolutely stunning piecies of art.
