...Kristian, If you are talking about buying them already loaded I guess they are fine. I shoot a lot of Rem core/loct bullets through my 30/06 for practice & silhouette matches as they are much cheaper than the premium brands! I buy them in bulk lots where a few years back 2000 bullets was about $200. I have killed many deer with this combination but never used them on African game! Even though they made the trip to Africa both times for sighting in the rifle as I have all my loads made to shoot to the same spot!
... I personally was going to use them in Africa but my friend told me not to be so cheap & buy some good bullets and be done with it!With the shots I've taken I am convinced they would have been just fine. The piece of mindof a better bullet might be ok but as I've stated in many previous posts Shot Placement & lots of practice is the combination for success!!!
...The Remington core/loct has been around a long time & has killed animals all over the world. I wouldn't be afraid to use it !!

I purchased 5 boxes of .300 Win Mag with the PSP CL bullet for barrel break-in because they were inexpensive and because I like using Remington brass for reloading.

Just out of curiosity, I shot several rounds through the chronograph and found a very large variance in velocity. (+/- 35 fps - total range 70 fps)

The accuracy was not impressive. 5-shot groups ranged from 1.5 to 2.5 inches center-to-center.

Different guns "like" different bullets, so I would not read too much into the accuracy results. However, I cannot accept the velocity variance.

If you are hand-loading, you could probably improve on the velocity.

I am interested by veritable ballistics of cartridge, his destructive power and stopping action, maximal distance of firing and maximal weight of animal on the proper distances.
Interests practical conclusions, but not testimonies of information of company exactly Remington Express 180 PSP CL.
    Thank you for an answer.

I have used Rem corlokts in the 30-06 off and on since about 1950..I have used them on Mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, moose, bear and all manor of African game..I have also used them in the 25-35, 250 Savage, .308, 30-30, 270 and 257 Robts to name a few..Back then it was about the only bullet one could depend on and it still works great..The new bonded core corelokt should be even better if thats possible..

The expand well at 25 yards or out of 400 yards and beyond..

Are they better than todays super premium bullets?, probably not, and my favorite bullets are Nosler partitions and accubonds, Northforks, and woodleighs, but I still use the 180 gr. corelokts in my 308 Savage 99 and in my Win. Mod. 95..

Just a good dependable bullet under most all circumstances is my call....
