Hi all! Im a new member now. Just shot the nr. 8 waterbuck with Danish client on a farm on limpopo river. It measured 34 and 35 1/2 inches with 11 inch bosses. Still waiting for the drying period for re-measurement. Will see where it measures... Will post a pic shortly. Love the site and everybodys opinions.... Leon

I would rather hunt a Waterbuck that doesn't look like a freak. Despite being a new world record, for me it doesnt do the Waterbuck specie justice. I absolutely love Waterbuck hunting and have hunted some huge bull..... Just cant get over the fact that it might be a genetic defect. Norwegianwood, I agree.

I don't mind shooting freak animals, but I am only willing to do it for free or very little money :)

That is a legitimate photo! I was his next client. We had an extraordinary time Wener is a good man a truly great hunter. He put me on a 63 3/8" kudu and a 28" waterbuck to name a few. I will be going back without a doubt! Highly, highly, highly recommend!
