If any hunters that visit the Limpopo province in South Africa want to do some superb fly-fishing for Trout or spinning for Bass then you have to contact me.

A friend of mine (National Bass and Fly fisherman) just secured some prime spots in one of the best areas in Limpopo. You do not even need any equipment. He will fit you out in minutes and have you onto wild fish on location.

The best is that he does it for a fee that even kids can afford.

Fritz, Sounds interesting.
How do they bite in the winter months?
Only got one strike on a Tiger in August. They were too cold in 19 degree water. :)

Are we talking about brown trout Fritz? And what prices ( dayrates etc.)? Do you usually use dry fly, nymph or wet fly?
I may be able to fit in one day in august if possible. It sure would have been great fun.

Brickburn:
Winter time here by us is the time for the big Trout. The are ok in summer but in winter is when you have a real go at them.

Wolverine:
It is predominantly Rainbow with a few Brown in between. The rates and the technique and equipment I can not tell you. My friend is the fishing PH. I fish with TNT. I shall get back to you and in a week or so I will be able to post a few pics when I get them.
