SCI Needs Your Help - Zimbabwe Elephant Hunting!

SCI is preparing to challenge the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s decision to continue the ban on importation of legally sport-hunted elephants from Zimbabwe for 2015 and beyond. We need information regarding the impacts of the importation ban. Did you cancel your hunt in 2014 or 2015? Do you plan to cancel an upcoming hunt in Zimbabwe? Do you plan to proceed with your hunt despite the importation ban? We also need information from outfitters who provide elephant hunts. Please contact jclare@safariclub.org so he can send you a questionnaire to fill out if (1) you had an elephant hunt scheduled in Zimbabwe for 2014 or 2015 and either took or cancelled that hunt, or have one scheduled for later in 2015 or beyond; or (2) you currently are an outfitter providing elephant hunting in Zimbabwe. The information you provide will be very important to our legal challenge. Please respond at your very earliest opportunity.
