Great cautionary note.

Not many people give a thought to automatic geotagging on their phones or cameras.
GPS coordinates, etc.

There is a large amount of Meta data "hiding" in your picture files. It can be stripped out.

That would certainly make you ill to your stomach to have provided some bloody poaching syndicate the directions to a Rhino.
 
I turned mine off when i purchased the camera.

I friends that i go fishing and hunting with, do not like to let others in on there honey holes.
 
At the reserve where my wife worked, they had to remove all the tracking collars on the rhino because someone internally was selling the frequency to poachers and then this same very thing lead to 4 of the rhino being poached. These guys are slippery characters
 
It has gotten so dangerous for the ranches that have rhinos. What a shame all the way around.
