Old Mozambique Lion For Tim Herald Magnum TV

The OLD Lion was tough long 18 month wait to get into country from Moz.
They are the longest waits for anything to move in africa.
Really a shame that country is so hard to get trophies out.
The longer a salted skin sits the more damage can occur and did on this one.
Tough skin to tan / mount but Tim was very satisfied and happy with the results.
Lots of details even matching the busted worn down and missing teeth he had.
We carved down the teeth and removed the missing ones from his reference photos the day of the kill.

Really nice!
The attention to detail on the teeth and scars on the face.....these are the small, unique things we remember about the hunt and that specific animal. When a taxidermist takes the time and has the skill to capture these individual characteristics it really is a "work of art" that brings the hunter back to that place and time over and over again.
To whoever did this work....thanks for "getting it".

Very nice. I really like how you captured the real details of the animal, missing/worn teeth and all. I think that is important on a trophy like this and plan to have you do the same on mine.
