Our sponsor Norma USA wants to hear what AH members valuable thoughts are about their African PH and Norma Solids line up.

They're interested to get your input so that they can improve their products and find out what they could add to complete their line. They are really interested to hear what your suggestions are.

For African PH go to: http://www.norma-usa.com/index.php/products/ammo/apha

For Norma Solids go to: http://www.norma-usa.com/index.php/products/ammo/norma-solids

Thanks for your help!

Jerome I would love to see both made up I. The 416 Ruger!

I would like to see them load .458 Win Mag in their African PH line.

I never heard about Norma until I started visiting ah.com. Since they were a sponsor I figured I would give them a try and I am glad I did. I tried several brands in preparation for my first hunt in Africa and the Norma American PH ammo was easily the most accurate. It worked very well for me on my PG hunt. My next goal is a buffalo hunt with my 375 H&H and yet again the Norma ammo shoots the best for me. So I'll be able to have some feedback sometime in the future on the African PH and solids. I just wished it was easier to find Norma ammo!

Love the fact that Norma loads the 404J. It's nice to have another manufacturer competing with Hornady. Wish Norma's prices were a little more competitive. Practice with Hornady. Shoot Norma. (y)

They should load the .450/400 3", .450/400 3 1/4 and .450 3 1/4....all are popular and good rounds..

And why not the .577 NE...:sneaky:

As Bob said, the only fault with Norma are steep prices..

Thanks guys, keep the valuable comments coming!

Wish they would load woodleigh bullets in 308 and 300 win mag

The nickel plated cases just don't work in my CZ 505 Gibbs. Of course the look great, bUT I cannot hunt with them unless I first scratch them up with corse sand paper. So I wish they would use common brass cases in these big fat bolt gun cartridges.

I would also like to see them load 375 Ruger.

Will be testing the Norma 458 WM 500GR A frame softs and their solids Feb/ March 2016 on elephant and buff hunt, Zimbabwe.
Will report back on my findings after this hunt.

Good Luck Bruce!

I use Norma African PH ammo for my back up rifle, a .500 NE "3". I attach pictures of two bullets recovered from a lion and hippo shot at less than ten yards. Performance was impressive. A Zippo lighter is used for reference.

Good Luck Bruce!
Thanks, Panielsen..... will be hunting the same area that I hunted in May/ June this year, with an additional area +_ 25kms away where the big boys gather in Feb/ March!!!! I am looking for the brother of that MONSTER shot there in Oct this year... tusks weighed in at 120lb and 122lb each !!! ( this area is just across the river from where I hunted this year )(y)

I would like to see Norma start making some tough. 405 WCF loads with as heavy a bullet that will give it the standard 2200 fps that most rifles are sighted for. I figure that with our new high energy powders, this should be achievable with a 350 grain bullet at standard pressures. This would be put the round into the class that it was originally intended.

I would also like to see Norma do factory runs of 8x64, 45-90 WCF and 10.75x68.

To Jerome, what fsrmg1 said about the .405 and .45-90 +1

To fsrmg1, since I hand load whatever custom ammo needed, I likely would only experiment(read buy one box) with such loads for the .405 and .45-90, but they would be good for those do not hand load.
On my way up from 300 grain bullets, I skipped the 350s on up to 400 grain Woodies at 2080 fps. My 300 grain loads are an easy 2250 and some folks push them on to 2350-2400 fps, however, I like mine to shoot to the same point of aim as the factory Hornady ammo and stopped at 2250.
Achieving 2200 with a 350 grain bullet should not be too difficult for a hand loader or Norma.

It would just be nice to be able to buy Norma all the time not just when its in stock here in New Zealand .
Some bloke called Obama has made it hard to get ammo here at times .
Anyone heard of him ???
Sounds like a right dick to me .!

I think Norma should get (better?) distribution in Canada.
