I purchased a Weatherby MKV custom rifle at the DSC convention auction. The following day I purchased a LR 1000. The rifle is a 300 mag with french walnut stock and monte carlo style carving that is polished to a fine grit and finished in a hand-rubbed oil. The for-end tip and pistol grip cap are ebony, while the checkering pattern is cut into a fleur-de-lis design at 22 lines per inch. The matte black action is fitted with safari style sites and banded front swivel. The rifle is engraved in gold with the special DSC inscription. This rifle also has a Swarovski Z3 series 3.5-10 x 42 rifle scope mounted with Talley quick detachable mounts. This gun was customized by McClelland Gun Shop and valued at $10,000. I am asking $7,500.
