Now, since I am a fan of small knives, if you could turn that Bowie over and use it to gut some game without chopping your hands off you would have me sold. Looks nice, small and easy to pack along.

Since your business name is tactical knives they would work for that purpose. I just have one purpose that I tend to use a knife for and with my large hands I would cut myself without a method of flipping them over. Look forward to seeing the new option.

The goal of a "tactical "knife is to be use on work, on the ground. The term tactical is use now usually for military or law enforcement knives, but it's just a liitle part of the real meaning of that term.

Ok so this a new neck knife, specially design to gut some game:

It is a cultural thing yet again. We use tactical over here for police work and military. Basically, chasing after people.

There you go. That Bowie should be good help for Elephant!

So, on the new design, at the base of the knife blade, if I hold the blade edge pointing up how can I grip it? or have a place for my thumb?

You can use this blade in any direction, you could place your thumb!!I will take some pics with different position!I made a handle a bit larger to use it easier.

I test this type of handle since a year now, with my own prototype, I use them on Hogs (heavy skin), some warhogs on Africa, and on some buffalo. I use them on different kind of work on games, and on others materials, and on diving too.

Yes the Bowie is really huge, I cut very cleanly, and it is not too heavy. Thanks!

tacticalBlade Sent you a PM.

A new model: the Hunting, based on the TBW1 classic, with hook, buffalo handle, L6 tool steel handforged.
