I have one opening for the first week of September for Big Bull gator, this is a lake hunt conducted on private land known to hold big massive bull gators in the twelve foot range. The hunt takes place NorthWest of Baton Rouge Louisiana, this all inclusive hunt is 4,500.00us, license are purchased upon arrival, this includes 1 on 1 guide, all lodging and equipment needed for the hunt, we can process your skin/head for shipment to your taxidermist at your cost or we can perform the taxidermy services if you choose so. Big gators in excess of twelve feet are extremely rare today, this is a great opportunity to experience one of the most exciting hunts in North America. Most of the hunting will be done on foot from the banks of large lakes and ponds, we will use small boats if needed, we use a combination of either baiting or stalking depending on the situation. Calibers should be a minimum of .223 with solid well made ammo. This is the only hunt I am offering for alligator this year.

Former nuisance hunter faces alligator-related charges - Louisiana Sportsman

Former nuisance gator hunter cited for multiple violations

Louisianna Department of Fisheries and Wildlife LDWF agents seize ten hides, 13 unused tags and hunter permit in investigation

LDWF agents document several of the alligator hides taken during an investigation of former permitted nuisance hunter David Caveretta of Denham Springs. Caveretta was charged with 26 alligator-related violations.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents cited a 51-year-old Denham Springs man who was a permitted nuisance alligator hunter with 26 alligator-related violations that occurred in Ascension and Livingston parishes over the past two years, according to a press release.

David Caveretta was cited for four counts of taking alligators without a license, four counts of taking alligators during a closed season, four counts with failure to comply with alligator tagging requirements, 10 counts of illegal possession of alligator skins and parts and four counts of not abiding with the nuisance alligator programs rules and regulations, the release stated.

During the investigation, agents learned that Caveretta was allegedly using nuisance alligator complaint tags on alligators that were not nuisances, according to the release.

Agents determined that if Caveretta was given a complaint tag for a specific nuisance gator that was too small or for one he couldn't locate, he would allegedly use that same nuisance tag on a larger alligator taken from a different area.

Agents seized 10 hides, Caveretta's 13 remaining unused alligator tags, his nuisance hunter permit and he was removed from the nuisance alligator program, the release states.

Failing to adhere to nuisance alligator program rules and regulations and failing to comply with alligator tagging requirements each brings a $100 to $350 fine and up to 60 days in jail for each count. Taking alligators without a license carries a $250 to $500 fine and up to 90 days in jail for each count. Taking alligators during a closed season and possessing alligator skins and parts each brings a $400 to $950 fine and up to 120 days in jail for each count, the release states.

O.K.! This is for all the people who believe everything they see in the papers, Television, and internet, unfortunately some call themselves "hunters", "sportsmen", "moderators", and anything else that applies, I will not try to explain the LDWF's opinions or their agents opinions, this is the final answer to the final outcome of this crap! BAD PAPERWORK AND BAD RECORD KEEPING, bottom line is this, I agreed to one count of "no rules and regulations", and a 100.00 fine! I don't care and will not explain all the details or try to explain "what happened", but don't take my word for it, call the judge, prosecutor, or the DA at the Twenty-Third Judicial District Court in Ascension Parish and ask them their side and opinion of the outcome of this very "political and personal", attack on my constitutional rights, horse of a different color. Fortunately the people who know and make a difference in my life, understood and saw the truth behind all of this mess, the rest just doesn't matter, It would have been easier, cheaper, less public, to lay down and pull my pants to my knees or moved to CANADA and just give into the LDWF's cronies, and give up, NO, not in my world, RIGHT ALWAYS WINS OUT, you may cross the finish line last, its never easy, you'll be judged by ignorance, and its not pretty or glamorous, but in the end RIGHT ALWAYS WINS! Now I know the inevitable left wing liberal will get on here and say something real stupid! Well just ask.
Enough of the legal stuff, and back to the things that matters, HUNTING, last alligator season we were 100% on big bull gators, our largest was 12'8'' with 8 out of 8 going home with great trophies and the memories of great experience of hunting in the swamps and marshlands of South East Louisiana, we still consistently hunt and take the biggest alligators under fair chase conditions of anyone or any outfit in Louisiana. If you didn't book your Alligator hunt with us, well, you just didn't get the real deal!
Thanks Jerome for allowing the real story to be told, hope to see you in the swamp.
