This sounds like a great deal for some of the real "glamour" species. Somebody needs to jump on this!

This is a heck of a deal...can still smell the smoke! Somebody has to grab it!

Marius

Are the dates you list as being firm dates? or flexible?

What would a hunter expect trophy wise of the Nyala?

What would the hunter expect trophy wise of the Kudu? 48 to 52"?

What would a hunter expect trophy wist of the Water-buck?

Would their be a chance to add a Black Wildebeest if one were to be found?

Hi James,

The dates might be flexible by one or two spots. At this stage the only spot I can see on my board, that is open, is arrival round about 24 July. But we will have to speak to each other. If you could let me know what dates you might have in mind, I can try and see how we can make it happen.
Trophy quality that you can expect on the Nyala will be anything from 26.5" and up. We have seen some really nice bulls that I think will make 28.
On the Kudu, please keep in mind that its the East Cape Kudu. They average 45" and up , but 48"+ is definately possible, esspecially during the rut. We have taken some 50"ers here.
Quality on the Waterbuck should also be 26" plus.

James, its a bit difficult to tell you what the animals will be. We have to remember that these are wild animals. The measurements that I have given you is basically what I will not settle less than for and wont let you shoot if they are not close or above that. Mature animals with good genes will be the order.
The area that I would like to take these animals from does not get hunt often, so I believe some good trophies will be taken.
We do offer Black Wildebeest. But they are not in the immediate area and not in the same area as the above package. They might require a 2hr drive to get to them.

Although I have posted all the info here, I have also sent you a PM.

Best Regards
Marius Goosen

Marius,
This is a great package and I wish I could jump on it. For those of you that are considering it, while I've not hunted with Marius, I have had numerous discussions with him about hunting the cape and I've found Marius be a sincere and honest professional and will definitely be hunting with him in the future!

Marius, good luck and be safe this season!

Greg
