Hi to all AH members

I have just joined because it seems that this forum has really good info to read. I am really serious hunter (rifle and bow) and have a huge passion for firearms. I reload for several calibers for the past 20 years and still learn new stuff everyday. I have just started with long range shooting and I want to achieve 4" group at 1000 meters.

I am looking forward to all new discussions..

Read a lot ask a lot of questions, and write that hunt report and post it here after you've done that first of many hunts!

Welcome and good luck with the long range shooting, a 4" group at 1000 is a going to be a tough but not impossible task. I've been loading for over 40 years, I've got several 1" groups a 300 but never bothered shooting any groups over that. I've shot a bunch of critters out past 300 but just never shot for a group over that. Again welcome and good luck.

Hi jduckhunter, thanks for the welcome. I realized the 4" is tough, specially trying to understand wind at that distance. I regularly practice shooting at 500 meters (shooting range only 500m) and have shot some 1-1,5" groups. Reading the wind remains the biggest challenge.
