There is no shot opportunity guarantee on a one week hunt, but it is a very good deal where a hunter in good physical shape can expect take a Lord derbys Eland as well as a 3-4 other of the central african species. Previous hunters having done this hunts have always been very successful.

    Erik,

Been emailing you for 4 days, can't get a reply. I am sure comms in the bush are tough though, maybe some issue with email where one of us is not receiving them.

Can't get your phone numbers to work either.

Send me an email or call me. Or post here if you can't get emails to work.

    Eland is € 2700

The Euro is at a good rate now. About $1.28. Good time to go to CAR!

If I do the math on this, assume Wendell has the right number, that works out to only $12,045.00 USD.
    hmmmm!

Ask your bank what they exchange at when you send a wire. It's never the published exchange rate you see on the internet. If it is $1.28 expect $1.32-$1.35 (lowering your value). $.06 different is a 5% overall difference!

I guess for budgeting sake, use $1.35 (or € .74 per dollar ). You should be safe.

I have a couple accounts I can use for international € wires. Chase consistently gave me the best rate over a small town country bank. Makes sense when you think about it.

I like to be in denial before I leave and only know an underestimated cost. More of a bargain that way. :)

One of those good reasons to get all your shots and keep them up to date.
