Is that with priority pass?

I haven't looked at the available lounges yet for my upcoming trip.

I've been in the Bidvest on the airplane side of security in the domestic terminal. Self serve food and drinks that were fine. TV is the only entertainment. Hard seats. Ok for an hour or so, but two would be about all I could handle.

All I got.

The Bidvest "Premier" or "Sky"

Not sure. It's upstairs and you can look down on the security screening area.

Haven't been in any of those just the Air France lounge which was very nice.

Only time I was ever in an airport lounge was when I was on the way to Botswana in 1990, I got confused at the London airport and was asking all manner of questions o_Owhen this one dude directs me to a lounge area where I promptly took a nice cushioned seat :Dwhen I was approached by a lovely young lass:love: inquiring as to what I was doing there. I explained to her how I was told to go there and she laughed:ROFLMAO:, then nicely escorted me OUT OF THERE!!:mad:

I was in one 2 weeks ago in JNB... Don't recall the "name". It was ok. I was only there an hour. Some food, drink, tv, etc.... Everything you can get at a food court.

I used Mashonza last trip and was astonished that it only cost $25 US. Food, drinks, showers, and even a smoking room! It was very good and I highly recommend it. I wish all airports had these!
Regards,
Philip

Bidvest is the only pay lounge therefore the only one I have access to. Better than the steel seats in departure

used this lounge in int terminal a few times with priority pass. food/snacks not bad , drinks and internet, tv etc as philip says

I can recommend Shongololo, spent quite a few hours there on two hunting trips last year. OK good and quite. And they will not serve drinks/alcohol before noon, except for serving it in the kitchen to grumpy international travellers :)

I had a 6 hour layover in JNB recently. Walked over to the City Lodge Hotel over the parking garage at the airport and got a day room at the hotel for $46. Beat sitting in a lounge by a long shot. Got a shower and a decent nap on a bed, then went back to the terminal for my next flight.

The Star Alliance lounge (which doubles as the SAA business class lounge) at JNB is very nice. You can get in if you're flying business on a Star Alliance carrier, or if you are Star Alliance Gold on your frequent flyer program. Comfortable seats, open bar, lots of hot and cold food, and best of all, full showers.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
