Sounds like a good bag. The only think I would highly suggest is to make sure to add one of the little guys, either Duiker or Steinbok. Alot of guys arent real keen on them beforehand but the ones who pass on them and come home without regret it, especially since they are cheap, both to shoot and to mount.

I am heading to Ekland with my wife in a couple of weeks for a bow hunt. I have researched this at length and met with the owner, PH , and lodge manager. References from previous hunters are superb. Will let you know how it goes. Booked this in Dallas. D

    Hi There,
This might be a bit late, but I used to guide hunts for Ekland Safaris in 2011.
I can truly and honestly say they are some of the best Outfits in Sa. True professionals, dedicated to service. Their lodges are on par with the very best in the world.
As one thread aboce mentioned, the sheer size of the property makes for superp hunting. Trophy quality is excellent.
Just on the subject of the Lodge and it's quality: I have been employed by some topp-class Lodges, before I became a PH/Outfitter. I was involved with management of Safari Guiding teams, and have worked with some awesome lodges, including Singita, which are world-renowned. Thus I feel Im in a good position to honestly say EKLAND Safaris is on par, if not above, some of those lodges.
Great Lodges, Great Hunting, excellent Staff.
    Kind Regards
    Chris Erasmus
