    Default Black Wildebeest

This animal was taken a little ways outside of Ladysmith. Before I took this base package animal my thoughts were to just do a European mount but after I got it on the ground and looked it over I have decided on a full shoulder pedestal mount. The 375 H & H was the rifle of choice for this shot.

I think black wildebeest are fun to hunt. They are a little goofy. But their blond tail hair and cool horns, make them a fine trophy!

Thats an incredible set of horns for a package animal. They may not be large bodied animals but they are tough.
