Help wanted on PH and taxidermy company in KwaZulu Natal
Hello,
I am looking for information on a safari outfitter Dirk Terblanche (Terblanche Safaris) in KwaZulu Natal near Pongola. I am also interested in Kingdom Taxidermy in Pongola. Anyone ever hunt with this safari outfit or use this taxidermy studio for prep/dip/pack shipping etc. I am looking into a safari using these outfits and can not find much information on the internet ref them. Any information on either of these companies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I want to recommend a taxidermist in Port Elizabeth, Splitting Image Taxidermy, the guy Douglas Cockcroft is a very good guy...dip and pack or taxidermy...I trust him. www.splittingimagetaxidermy.co.za , you can mention me...he know me...great customer care.

I'll second enysse's note about Splitting Image Taxidermy - through a mix up, they ended up with my trophies by accident. Not only did they forward the horns and hides to the correct dip-pack service at no charge, they cleaned them as well.
Very reputable people and great with communications.

I do not know anthing about Terblanche Safaris but Zululand Taxidermy in Pongola did an outstanding job on my cape buffalo and my wife's tiger fish. They are the best pieces of taxidermy that I have. They have a web-site and if you need it I can probably find their email and phone number.

What would be the best way to find out more information about the outfitter Dirk Terblanche and Terblanche Safaris? I want to find out as much information as I can before I commit to a hunt. I won a hunt at a charity benefit with the outfitter but I can not seem to find any solid information or resources / references on this outfit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you see from the age of my last post I was inquiring about a year ago about this outfitter, but since then I did get all kinds of good information from the outfitter and booking agent, I really just wanted refeerences and information from someone who may have hunted with The PH to get their opinion and experiences with the outfitter and the taxidermy studio. I am already booked to hunt with them and I am very pleased with the correspondence and I am looking forward to my upcoming trip with them.

Oh... Hello Mike, Did not pay attention to the poster's name. I posted these questions a year ago after I first won the charity hunt, before all of our correspondence and meetings etc.
