Hey Matt, well done, I think you got your load! A grouping of under 3" @ 50 is perfect, remember don't expect accuracy from your double, like you would get from your bolt actions, Doubles are not traditionally accurate guns, they are designed to shoot at big targets very close-by another friend...

Sabatti doubles worked by Ken Owen

Hi Mike, there should be no rifle contact with the rest in case its a hard material, like wood. For instance if you hunt and take dead rest over a tree or rock, your hand should be between it and the rifle, if your rifle rests directly on a hard, non-giving surface, point of impact will be...

    Hornady Ammo Propellant

Howzit to all, and thank you for a great forum! Does anyone know what propellant Hornady uses in their .500 NE "Dangerous Game" series ammo? My double rifle (Sabatti "Big Five Classic") was regulated with this ammo (DGX) and I have used it with great results on buffalo and very good accuracy...

    Cape Eland

This is one of our clients with a Cape Eland, weighing over a ton. It was hunted in the Sandveld government game reserve, on the border of the Free state and North west province. Another example of the magnificent Eland of this area!

This Massive Eland Bull I hunted on the SA Savanna conservancy on the border of the North west and Free stae province of South Africa. The bull weighed nearly a ton on the hoof! This area is known for a gene pool that produces these massive Cape Eland.
