The hunter was my good friend, it was his first ever Roe buck. Everything you say above is correct and I would agree with you on this one but I watched this buck last year and he had a similar antler formation. I will wait for a better cape to mount this one, he was a bit rough!!

I chest shot a mountain goat and a Pere David deer with 30-06 150grn fusion and had similar results to Norwegianwoods. The bullets had failed to expand.

Merlin, It was approx 180m shot with a 30.06 (good guess on range) I was using 150gn federal fusion which did not expand on this shot, I will not use them again but will go back to power shok 150`s.

In the second picture you can see the herd of goats from where I shot, they stayed with the fallen billy until we approached. Anyone care to guess at the distance of the shot? By the way I`m not into long range stuff at all. Charly
