I guess so, I mean those are the hunting records in rowland ward's record. Even American Bison's get up to 5'9" at the shoulder which means it must be atleast 6' at the hump. European Bisons are taller at 5'11" at the shoulder. Here's the excerpt for american bison...

Here's something I have been working on with some data I got from Rowland Ward's Record of big game (see picture no.2). Anyway please feel free to edit it.
Here's the gaur with 30 inch on each side of the horn and a 36inch spread. Its the longest one that I have with me. Although the base looks a little skinny its still 19inch around due to it being more round rather than flat like the previous two I posted earlier.
